The scientific production of IMC is published in many papers and reported on international and local conferences. The most important published results during the last several years include:

  • geologic-genetic models of fluorite formation;
  • the phase composition and distribution of platinum-group minerals in placer deposits;
  • study of various native metals and alloys in sediments from oceanic rift zones;
  • modelling and complex criteria for prognosis and prospecting of carbonate-hosted Ba-Fe-sulphide deposits;
  • map database for heavy mineral concentrates from placer deposits and digital model of the river set in Bulgaria;
  • mineral and chemical composition of various coals  and refuse-derived fuels from municipal solid wastes, as well as their combustion products;
  • mineralogical-technological investigations of wastes from ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgical and ore-dressing processes;
  • effective utilization of valuable components from waste products;
  • geometrization of the language of chemistry - mathematical models of simple and complex chemical objects and chemical reactions;
  • crystal chemical features of natural and modified zeolites and their ion-exchange and sorption properties;
  • crystal structures of various new Se and Re phases, Cl-containing sulphosalts, adducts of urea derivatives, microporous silicates, titanates, phosphates;
  • structural and thermodynamic parameters of silicate and metasilicate glasses, heterogeneous phase systems, disorder and alteration during phase transitions.
